From a very young age, I’ve always been interested in business and the selling process. My earliest business ventures included buying and reselling high-demand products. After analyzing different market demands for specific products, I would buy a high stock of these items and then resell them at a later point when the market hit its peak.
When I was 15, I established an electronic re-commerce website called TriPhonia.com where we would purchase and resell smartphones and tablets. Over the course of 4.5 years, our growth revenue averaged 150% annually and went over the six figure mark. TriPhonia.com was also trademarked in 2013 by the US. Department of Commerce.
In the Summer of 2013, I attended the Kentucky Governors Scholar for Entrepreneurs program and was fortunate enough to be accepted among hundreds that applied. Among the 50 attendees, we competed in teams for best development/idea in front of a board of angel investors and our team won 1st place for TriPhonia.com. Afterwards, I was invited to present my company to a venture capitalist club in Lexington, KY. Later that month, word spread and we were given the opportunity to meet with the director of the Jefferson County Department of Commerce, after which, we were honored at an event celebrating Louisville small businesses.
In July 2015, after 4.5 years, TriPhonia LLC was sold to a private buyer. That same month, I got hired on with a marketing firm, called 1926 Marketing, to be their Lead Digital Strategist and Web Designer. After staying with 1926 for about a year, I got an offer from an online estate-planning software-development company called NetLaw to come in and be their Digital Marketing and Communications Specialist and that is where I currently reside.
In addition to my daily activities, I assist businesses in the retail, financial, legal and real estate industries in their marketing strategies. I help these businesses with their social networking building and advertising seen nationwide across different platforms. My passion and expertise in business has exposed me to many attributes of the industry that many do not experience until many years after college. I have thoroughly enjoyed the aspects of marketing, networking with business leaders, and the building of an idea and turning it into a reality.
